Cook With What You've Got Challenge

I hope you all will join me in this challenge. Believe it or not, I am planning on using some of my CSA potatoes, the only thing I have left.

And if you are so moved, consider donating some of what you don't spend at the grocery to help the victims in Haiti.

Cook with What You've Got Challenge

Thanks,

Tami

OK – I accept the challenge. I actually cleaned my pantry right before the holidays and made of list of all the “oddball” items that I should make an effort to use- fish sauce, pomegranate juice, blueberry syrup, stir fry sauce, pad Thai sauce, curry simmer sauce, hoisin sauce, enchilada sauce, green curry paste, sauerkraut, wide LoMein Noodles, thin rice noodles, Chinese Wheat noodles, couscous, current jellym capers, cranberry-quince preserves, panko and prunes! How I managed to accumulate all those assorted sauces I’ll never know! I have lots of pork and chicken in the freezer, so it’s looking like we are going to be doing some international dining…

I used that last of my “share” potatoes last night - an assortment including red, golds, and purples to make a small batch of mashed potatoes.
